With the busy summer season behind us, here at Crockwell we are preparing for one of two taster evenings that we hold during the year especially for couples who have booked their wedding with us and are just getting into the planning process. We hold one evening in Autumn and another in Spring, inviting a selection of our favourite suppliers in addition to the Crockwell and Chopping Block teams.
These evenings are a great opportunity for couples and their immediate family to get a real feel for what Crockwell can look like on their wedding day, as well as the chance to sample delicious taster bites from the Chopping Block, a selection of our house wines and Champagnes, and ask as many questions as you like in a relaxed environment.
We have found that the taster evenings are a huge help for brides and grooms; kicking off the planning process and providing inspiration and ideas as well as the invaluable chance talk to potential suppliers face to face. It’s also great for couples to see what the venue feels like in the evening with our romantic lighting and up lighters; something that most couples won’t experience on an initial show-round.
In addition to the hall and marquee, we open all of our bedrooms. Allocating rooms for the night of your wedding can be a time consuming task – so it’s worth taking as much time as you like to wander around the rooms and work out which rooms are best suited to which guests. The bedrooms at Crockwell are a big attraction and integral to our policy of exclusive use for two days.
Joining us at our upcoming taster evening will be the Chopping Block team of Ben, Gwil and Karen providing a selection of canapés and taster dishes and answering and catering queries you may have.
Andy Doherty, our trusted and recommended photographer will have a stand with various albums including those from Crockwell weddings.
As well as our taster evenings for those who have already booked, we also hold an Open Evening for perspective couples in March. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to come and have a show round, or attend our March Open Evening.
