Choose your preferred ceremony location

At Crockwell, we are one of the first venues in the UK to host weddings in a farm setting. If you’re planning a farm wedding or something similar, you have three excellent options for your ceremony: the Vaulted Barn, the Orchard Pavilion, and the Main Marquee.

The Vaulted Barn

The Vaulted Barn can seat up to 86 people and is a beautiful setting for your wedding ceremony. It doesn’t require a lot of decoration and it is wonderfully romantic in winter, especially when filled with candlelight. Boasting of gorgeous oak beams and high ceilings, the Vaulted Barn is also an excellent option for summer ceremonies. The Orchard Pavilion

Wind your way through the gardens and down the tree-lined aisle before exchanging your vows in the rustic and wonderful Orchard Pavilion. Your guests can enjoy the shade from the trees on a sunny day before we serve reception drinks from the outside bar. Seating is for up to 200 people, making the Orchard Pavilion perfect for couples who are expecting a significant number of guests. The Main Marquee

Overlooking the stunning South Northamptonshire countryside, the Main Marquee can accommodate up to 200 guests. This is a great option for larger weddings and can be an excellent back-up plan for outside ceremonies in case the weather turns. The marquee looks magical with its starlit ceiling and panoramic views. There’s also a lot of scope for letting your imagination run wild when it comes to decoration. At Crockwell Farm, we use local suppliers and tradesmen whenever possible. The Chopping Block, our caterer based in Flecknoe, are butchers as well. Their meat is locally sourced and guaranteed fresh. They also use seasonal vegetables grown by local farmers. The eggs we use for breakfast are free-range and sourced from a local farmer in Maidford. With us, you can be sure that your food is not only delicious, but it is fresh and healthy, as well. At the same time, you get to help local farmers and home-grown businesses.

Help save the environment

Choosing us enables you to contribute to efforts to save the environment. We utilise sustainable sources of energy for our daily needs and make a concerted effort to reduce our impact on the local environment. For instance, in 2012, we installed a 50-kilowatt solar panel system on our roof. It generates enough power to cover our basic energy needs throughout summer. We also installed low-energy light bulbs and a biomass boiler that burns wood chip and powers the underfloor heating system that keeps our venue warm.
