We have put together a few suggestions, requests, and some information to help you and us to organise your wedding day. Please call or email if you have any queries and we will do our best to advise.

If you would like to arrange a viewing, please get in touch and let us know when you would like to marry and an idea of guest numbers. We will pop a quote together for you and come back with possible times to view. Weekend viewings are generally on Sunday’s and do get booked up in advance. We can also offer midweek evening appointments.

We will provide you with a quote before your viewing. This will include the facility fee for your desired date, a drinks and catering package for your estimated guest numbers. We also send information and pricing for our accommodation. We can update your quote when you have visited and we’ve discussed your plans in detail.

No. We have teamed up with Ross & Ross who are our sole caterers. Please see our catering page for more information.

We have a fully stocked reasonably priced licensed bar, and our house wines are popular. You can bring your own wine for which we would charge a corkage fee of £10 per bottle of wine and £13 for sparkling wine/ champagne.

We will hold a date free of charge for 1 week while you contact the registrar and close family. We will then require an initial £500 deposit with a further £2000 to be paid one month after booking.

Yes. Deposits are non returnable. We would strongly advise you to take out wedding cancellation insurance when you pay your deposit.

We hold two Taster Evenings per year in Spring and Autumn. We will invite you to an evening roughly 1 year before your wedding. If you can’t attend then we will invite you to the next one.

Yes, throughout the venue. We also have a disabled toilet and one ground floor bedroom with a wet room.

At Crockwell we have three options which are all licensed for civil weddings, partnerships and naming ceremonies. Please see our Ceremonies and Reception page for more detail.

No there is no surcharge for outside ceremonies.

No. Unlike most wedding venues, we do not hold weddings on consecutive days. You will have exclusive use of the venue from the afternoon before your wedding right through to mid morning the day after. We do show prospective couples around at weekends, but any visitors will have left 2 hours before your ceremony.

Yes, we have plenty of indoor reception space. Please see our floor plans for more detail.

Yes but no paper or biodegradeable confetti in the garden, petals are fine, or whatever you like inside.

You can but generally Saturdays are booked out first, and if so, the Friday & Sunday will be unavailable.

You have access to the venue from 2 pm the day before your wedding and we ask you to leave by 12 midday the day after your wedding.

We have plenty of free parking for your guests, and cars can be left here overnight.

Yes a dedicated member of the Crockwell team will be on hand to help with the smooth-running of the day.

The bar staff, glasses and all linen are included in your facility fee. The catering quote includes all charges for staff, crockery and cutlery.

Yes. Ross & Ross are very flexible and experienced, this can be discussed with them directly.

Yes, we can recommend local pubs or we can facilitate dinner in our breakfast room, please call or email us to discuss.

The band can set up during the wedding breakfast as the dance floor is concealed. There is a separate entrance for them to use so they do not disturb you.

Yes, we have a cordless microphone available for speeches.

Yes, we have a sonus sound system throughout ceremony & main marquee. This can be linked by a cable we provide or Bluetooth. You need to bring your playlist downloaded on to a phone or similar device. Our system does not cover the dance floor so you will need to have a DJ or band for evening entertainment.

Music finishes at midnight and the bar shuts at 12.30am.

Yes, the Bride & Groom get Bed & Breakfast included in the facility fee price for the night before and the night of your wedding.

Yes, we have a list of local B&Bs in our guest area. We can also book reliable taxis for guests at the bar on the day of the wedding.

Yes, we have a fully equipped make up room for you to use. Even if you don’t stay the night before your wedding the venue is still exclusively yours so you can arrive at whatever time suits you to get ready.

Yes, we welcome children to Crockwell Farm but ask that they are supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Yes. We have a veranda which has individual heaters and screens to protect you from the elements.

Yes. We also ask that you supply us with insurances for all of your external suppliers.

In the event of cancellation, the following charges will be made:
Cancellation of a confirmed booking – loss of total payments made to date.
