About the Wedding

M & O chose to showcase seasonal English summer blooms for their August wedding, seamlessly combining a delicate colour palate of whites, lilac and eucalyptus with their other love: english beer! Their tables centres included traditional beer growlers depicting their table names with florals mounted on log slices, continuing the woodland theme from their Orchard ceremony. This was also echoed in Michelle’s beautiful lace gown and flowing veil which featured intricate embroidered leaves. With sustainability at the forefront, Juliet from Willow Green Flower Farm created a masterpiece flower arch comprised entirely of locally grown blooms under which Michelle & Oliver said their vows.

Michelle says “Crockwell had an effortless chic look about it, we really didn’t feel it needed too much decoration which was excellent. There was truly no other venue like it.” Guests enjoyed garden games in the sun while sipping gin and tonic and hand picked beers before a wedding breakfast of roast topside of beef. The couple recommend hiring a videographer to capture precious memories as well as ensuring you take a moment alone as newlyweds to savour the moment.

We’re hugely grateful to Michelle & Oliver and their incredible photographer, Megan Donati for allowing us to share their day with you.
