About the Wedding
Kris & Simon chose an October date for their incredible wedding day and we’re honoured that they felt Crockwell was a good fit for their celebrations. Autumn colours were centre stage, with the seasonal display outside reflected in the décor inside the venue too. Family and friends gathered on a Wednesday evening for an intimate welcome meal at Crockwell before settling in for a two night stay and the main event. It was an emotional morning as preparations for the ceremony began, with both grooms and their families enjoying a wedding morning breakfast together. We loved K & S’s first look, captured so beautifully by Ellie Mac. This was an example of October’s finest, with reception drinks and canapes enjoyed in the garden before the party retreated to the warmth of the starlit marquee for the wedding breakfast. Kris & Simon had spent the run up to their wedding lovingly baking their own wedding cakes which took centre stage and were absolutely delicious. The party danced the night away to DJ Rob Lawes. This was a magical wedding we won’t forget in a hurry. Our thanks to Kris, Simon and their photographer Ellie Mac for allowing us to share it with you.
