Directions from Buckingham

Crockwell Farm, Eydon, Daventry NN11 3QA.

Please use these detailed map and directions and bear in mind that Google maps or satellite navigation systems can often lead you down a small farm track only passable by four wheel drive vehicles.

The venue is approximately 19 miles from Buckingham.

  1. Take the A422 to Brackley.
  2. Stay on this road towards Banbury.
  3. In the village of Farthinghoe (30 mile limit) turn right off this road towards Sulgrave.  This turning is just after the village school.
  4. Stay on this road which is quite bumpy until sign on right for Sulgrave.
  5. Go up hill to cross roads.
  6. Go straight over these cross roads.
  7. At the next junction turn right.
  8. Stay on the road for 3 miles, ignoring all left hand signs towards Eydon, until you have gone through Moreton Pinkney and reached Canons Ashby.
  9. At the entrance to Canons Ashby village, turn left signed Eydon continue along this road for 1 mile.
  10. Turn right at small crossroads up the drive to Crockwell Farm.

Idyllic Wedding Venue Near Buckingham

If you are looking for a farm wedding venue that has the very best scenery and is very close to nature, then Crockwell Farm is wedding venue for you. It was founded in 2002 by the Harper Family. It has 9 large bedrooms in the farm cottages, has a vaulted ceremony barn, gardens and permanent marquees. It’s close to Warwickshire and Oxfordshire and accessible from M40 and M1 motorways. You can use all the facilities for more than 3 days with the help of our attentive team.

Accommodation Options

The accommodation available in our farm consists of 7 bedrooms and a two-bedroom cottage. If the bride and groom are not using a room and you have not already had one assigned to you, then you may be able to book in, if all are occupied their are many nearby Bed and Breakfast and hotels to choose from.

Local Accommodation

Camping At Crockwell

Thinking about camping? You are very welcome to camp during the night of the wedding. We don’t have shower and electricity facilities for camping, but we do have toilets available for use overnight. The fee for camping is £10 per pitch. Please contact us in advance if you plan on camping.

Local Taxis

Getting a taxi ride home from Crockwell should be straightforward, however we do advise that you book your taxi in advance. There are taxi companies from Banbury, Northampton, and Daventry which we recommend. If you wish you are able to leave your car overnight and pick it up the next day.

If you are staying at the Eydon Cottage, we can drive you back to your cottage free of charge. We can also arrange for an informal shuttle to bring you back to nearby accommodation (within 3 miles) for a fee. Please approach us in the bar if this is of interest.

Bar

Our bar houses a full range of affordable drinks. Bottled drinks, lagers, ciders, wines and spirits are all available. You can pay via Credit Card and gain cashback when needed. We ask that all drinks being consumed on the premises are bought from the bar.

Confetti

If you plan to bring confetti for the wedding, please only bring dried rose petals.

Lunch Options

We don’t provide lunch prior to weddings, so if this is required we recommend the Royal Oak in Eydon, it’s just over a mile away.
