Directions from Bicester

Crockwell Farm, Eydon, Daventry NN11 3QA.

Please bear in mind that Google maps or satellite navigation systems can often lead you down a small farm track only passable by four wheel drive vehicles.

The venue is approximately 20-25 miles from Bicester.

  1. Depending on where you are in Bicester – join the M40 either at junction 9 or 10 whichever is closest
  2. Travel on M40 and exit at junction 11
  3. At roundabout take the 4th exit on the A422 towards Brackley
  4. Drive up the hill and at the next roundabout take first exit onto the B4525 and follow this for 2.5miles
  5. Turn left (North) and follow brown signs for Canons Ashby House (a national trust property)
  6. Stay on this road for 6 miles, ignoring all left hand signs towards Eydon, until you have gone through the village of Moreton Pinkney and reached Canons Ashby
  7. At entrance to Canons Ashby village, turn left signed Eydon and continue on this lane for 1 mile.
  8. Turn right at small crossroads up the drive to Crockwell Farm

Idyllic Wedding Venue Near Bicester

If you are looking for a farm wedding location, then you came to the right place. We are located in Northamptonshire and are next to Oxfordshire and Warwickshire. Crockwell farm was established by the Harper Family in 2002. This is the finest wedding venue with an experienced team to help you. You can make use of our whole venue for more than 3 days and enjoy our facilities that consists of 9 large bedrooms in the farm cottages, a beautiful garden, a vaulted ceremony barn and permanent marquees.

Accommodation

Our venue accommodates 9 bedrooms. There are 7 bedrooms in the farm and 2 cottages less than a mile away. If a room was not assigned for you and the bride and groom are not going to use them all, then we may have available accommodation, otherwise, you can book in your choice of many bed and breakfasts and hotels in the area.

Local Accommodation

Camping

If you plan on camping in our farm then you are welcome to do so, just call us in advance to let us know. There is a charge of £10 per pitch. We don’t have facilities like electricity and showers, but you may use the toilets overnight.

Taxis

Taking a taxi? We can contact one of our recommended taxi firms from the area. It would be ideal to book your ride in advance for your convenience. You may choose to leave your vehicle overnight and pick it up the next day.

At the end of the evening we can drive back guests staying in Eydon Cottage and those staying in hotels and B&Bs within 3 miles for free. We can also arrange for an informal shuttle bus, at a cost. Please approach us and let us know if this is required.

Bar

We have a full range of drinks including ciders, lagers, wines, spirits and bottled drinks in our bar. All of whioch are very affordable. You can pay by credit card and you are able to gain cashback. We expect all drinks that are bought from the bar to be consumed within the premises.

Confetti

Please only use dried rose petals as we do not allow paper confetti to be used outside.

If you require lunch prior to the wedding, we recommend the Royal Oak in Eydon which is only just over a mile from Crockwell Farm.
