Please use these detailed map and directions and bear in mind that Google maps or satellite navigation systems can often lead you down a small farm track only passable by four wheel drive vehicles. The venue is approximately 10 miles from Banbury, Daventry, Towcester and Silverstone. Cross over the M40 and take second exit onto A422 (East – towards Brackley). At the first roundabout take first exit onto B4525 towards Northampton for 2.5 miles. Turn left (North) following brown tourist signs for Canons Ashby House. Stay on the road for 6 miles, ignoring all left hand signs towards Eydon, until you have gone through Moreton Pinkney and reached Canons Ashby. At the entrance to Canons Ashby village, turn left signed Eydon and continue along this road for 1 mile. Turn right at small crossroads up the drive to Crockwell Farm

Idyllic wedding venue near Banbury
Founded in 2002 by the Harper family, Crockwell is a specialist wedding venue based in Northamptonshire, providing a one of a kind service with exclusive use over three days. Situated in beautiful rural surroundings next to the Oxfordshire and Warwickshire borders, and within close distance of the M40 and M1 motorways, it is the perfect location for weddings. Our venue includes a vaulted ceremony barn, permanent marquees and gardens as well as nine large bedrooms within farm cottages.

One Location for your Wedding Ceremony and Reception
There has also been a trend over the past twenty years for couples who are not religious and therefore do not want a church wedding but also don’t relish the thought of a Registry office to look for more atmospheric licensed venues for their ceremony and Barns have really filled this void.
Not only do they offer a slightly formal, often “chapel” like feel with their high, beamed ceilings and rectangular shape which lends itself perfectly to an aisle, they can also be turned around for evening entertaining if necessary. This means guests are not having to travel between two venues as would have been traditional, but can celebrate the whole day in one place.

We have eleven bedrooms on site in the Farmhouse and cottages.
If you haven’t already been allocated a room don’t worry; we may have space if all the rooms are not required by the bride and groom. Alternatively there are plenty of local Bed and Breakfast’s as well as larger hotels close by. See our list of recommended local accommodation linked below.

Camp on site for ultimate convenience
You are welcome to camp here for the night of the wedding. We charge £15 per pitch. We don’t have shower or electricity facilities but we can leave the loos open for you overnight. Please call to let us know if you are planning on camping.
taxis
We will make sure you arrive to your accommodation safely
Gaining taxi’s home from Crockwell it no problem, we can recommend various companies based in Banbury, Northampton, and Daventry. It’s sensible to book your taxi before the wedding evening where possible. Please see our recommended taxi list. If you wish cars can be left here overnight and picked up the next day.
We operate an informal shuttle back to local B&B’s within 2 miles at cost. If you are interested please let us know, or come to the bar early on during the wedding.

We have a licenced bar on site
Our bar stocks a full range of drinks including lagers, ciders & bottled drinks as well as spirits and wines at reasonable prices. We able to offer a cashback facility and also take card payments. We expect all drinks consumed on the premises to be bought from the bar whilst it is open.

If you wish to bring confetti, please bring dried rose petals. We do not allow the use of paper confetti outside.

We do not provide lunch prior to weddings. If you require food before the wedding then the award winning Royal Oak in Eydon just over a mile from Crockwell is an ideal option.
