"We chose Crockwell as it really complemented our desire for a classy but homely vibe. We wanted something that felt glamorous and luxurious, whilst also feeling like you were somewhere familiar, with a cosy and safe atmosphere."

Maya & Jake had their hearts set on having al fresco ceremonies and the glorious June weather delivered! They utilised the Orchard for their legal ceremony and the Paddock for the Hindu blessing, which was led by the UK's first female Hindu priest.

Bride Maya says "Crockwell ensured we had enough space for everyone, whilst also not having people miles away from each other. Everywhere felt lively, without feeling busy or overcrowded, and there were no queues for the bar ( especially important for the Irish side)!

Kids could run around and explore, there were quieter spaces for people that didn’t want to be amongst the loud music the whole night, the outside space proved perfect for drinks outside in the cooler evening and the pizza oven was the cherry on top of the wedding cake - pizza (but boujee) is so very us!

Being an Anglo-Indian bride, and an Anglo-Irish groom, we knew it was always going to be a big, bright, bold wedding. Lively, loud and love-filled! We knew we wanted an Indian wedding, with a modern twist. Something that represented us - inclusive, contemporary and fun, whilst still being respectful and culturally accurate and respectful.

We didn’t want to do wedding celebrations split over 2 days, so double ceremony in one day it was! This meant a busy day was planned, but we still wanted it to feel relaxed enough and fun for guests rather than stressful and rushing. We wanted to make sure
everyone was constantly fed, things felt smooth, and decided on an outdoor ceremony to make it more informal and feel natural and chilled. Huge scares weather wise, but the manifesting paid off!"
