May magic for Leah & Rory's Sustainable summer wedding combining nature and Bridgerton vibes
"My dream has always been to have a wedding ceremony outside, surrounded by greens and full of naturally beautiful sights. When we came to Crockwell we were sold straight away!"
Leah & Rory’s vision was for a wedding day surrounded by nature, greenery and with Bridgerton vibes and the May weather certainly delivered for them.
They were keen to incorporate as many personal touches as possible, while keeping sustainability in mind and carried this off admirably. Groom, Rory handmade table name places while the father of the bride provided honey favours from his colony of bees. Incredible locally grown flowers were sourced and arranged by Pembridge Flower Farm and included roses from the bride’s Grandmother’s garden as well as “something blue” forget me nots. The day was spectacular and seamless barring a short pause during the ceremony while the best man retrieved the rings! Guests enjoyed reception drinks and canapes in the gardens which really sing at this time of year, followed by a feast and dancing. Leah’s advice to couples is simple: Don’t forget the rings!? Choose crockwell ? Don’t leave each others side from the moment you say I do! ?"It was such a bonus that we could arrive the day before and set up, sleep there and get ready there in the morning. It was also such a peaceful place, with no noise other than the birds singing and leaves rustling in the breeze."
