About the Wedding
We have the pleasure of sharing our latest featured wedding. Zoe & Dom celebrated their beautiful outdoor wedding in September last year. The couple wanted a “modern and elegant style” which they showcased through their timeless green, white and gold colour scheme.
Zoe spent the morning preparing with her bridal party in our gorgeous make up room before making her way to the Honeymoon suite where she finished getting ready with her Mum by her side, ready for an emotional first look for her Dad.
Meanwhile, Dom gathered his Grooms party together in the farmhouse, straightening their buttonholes and sharing a few laughs before the first guests arrived.
The weather made it possible for Zoe and Dom to have their dream wedding in the Orchard. The pavilion was beautifully decorated with an amazing flower arch supplied by the The Rustic Wedding company which made for a truly magical ceremony. Guests enjoyed a drinks reception in the gardens. September really has the most glorious colours and blooms creating perfect backdrop for photos.
“Modern and elegant” was exactly what this couple achieved with their décor. Simple greenery and tall candle sticks were used to create a rustic yet timeless look in the marquee. When asked: why Crockwell? Zoe said “There is an endless list of reasons why we chose Crockwell. The venue is absolutely beautiful” Along with our three day venue hire and onsite accommodation Zoe concluded “Crockwell took all of our stresses away and made us feel at ease that everything would go exactly how we planned it.”
Finally, we asked the couple if they had any tips for future couples, “ Make sure you schedule in some time to spend alone as a couple, even if it’s only for 5-10minutes to take it all in and celebrate just the 2 of you. Make a list of all the photos you’d like taken and give them to your photographer so you don’t forget important pictures you’d like to have taken. If you’re considering hiring a videographer – do it! Watching your wedding ceremony/wedding day a few months after the day brings back so much emotion and happiness.”
