About the Wedding

Rebecca & Seyi held a spectacular wedding for 150 guests at Crockwell in April this year. Seyi proposed on the Greek island of Santorini on his fiance’s 25th birthday.  Rebecca says “He wrote “Will you marry me?” with rose petals and candles. The ring was in a Harry Potter book (I’m a big fan)!” When it came to planning their wedding, the couple wanted to make sure they could include their big families and lots of friends. They chose Crockwell “because it literally had everything, on site accommodation, several options to get married especially outside. I loved the grounds and all the open space. The hidden dancefloor, the whole venue just felt special. Love that you also got it for 3 whole days for the cost was brilliant. All the staff were so welcoming and lovely and I really just knew from the first visit this was the location for us.”

The ceremony took place in the main marquee which looked stunning with spectacular flower arrangements from Once Upon A Time floral design and hanging hoops from Decorations from Laura. The bride looked stunning in her Donna Salado dress while the groom was dapper in black tie. There were tears, laughter and a lot of love as the pair said their vows in view of the rolling countryside. After the wedding, there were drinks and photos in the vaulted barn and gardens while the marquee was transformed for the wedding breakfast. Guests got into the party spirit with dancing between courses and plenty of fun and games hosted by their MC Mr Tandoh. The evening saw music from DJ MRI and a barbeque from the Chopping Block. Thank you to this utterly gorgeous pair for allowing us to share these images with you.
