About the Wedding

It’s always lovely when couples find Crockwell through word of mouth or a recommendation and this was the case for Jo & Rob. The couple married in Eydon Church on a September Saturday before returning to Crockwell for a wonderful Reception with drinks and canapes in the garden and a big party in the marquee and dance floor. Eydon is a beautiful church and a wonderful option for couples who would like a religious ceremony just a mile from Crockwell. The vicar is happy to marry couples who do not live in the parish so long as they attend a number of services in the run up to the wedding. Jo & Rob opted for a classic colour scheme for their flowers with lots of foliage and white flowers which were so effective both in the church and the marquee at Crockwell. These were provided by the brides’ godmother, Susie Jackson Stops. Guest of honour was Hetty, the couples’ gorgeous golden labrador who accompanied them for photos around the farm. Guests partied the night away to music from the band, The New Tones. Amara Grace Photography, who come highly recommended have captured some stunning images of the day. Our thanks to them and to the bride & groom for allowing us to share their day with you.
