About the Wedding
We are delighted to be able share Helen and Tim’s wedding with you. The pair were one of the many couples who were forced to postpone from 2020. Fortunately, they were eventually able to celebrate their relaxed, rustic Autumnal wedding in October 2021.
The couple wanted a fairly small wedding to give them the opportunity to speak to each and every guest and ensure they were surrounded by their closest loved ones. Helen was keen to keep a relaxed theme so tried to steer clear from the barrage of ideas on Pinterest and magazines and instead really thought about what they wanted from the day. Helen created as many of the decorations herself as she could; carefully covering leaves in glycerine for the name places, painting wine bottles, hand writing a chalk table plan and not forgetting the 1000 handmade paper cranes! Every part of their day had an element of them, making this wedding entirely unique and personal.
When choosing the venue, the couple knew they wanted to have a venue with enough space for the ceremony and reception to take place in distinct locations, on site accommodation for close relatives and most importantly, good food. Given all those requirements, Crockwell was the perfect choice for them. “We weren’t disappointed. We received so many compliments about Ross & Ross’s food and loved how social the sharing platters were.”
When asked for advice for future couples they said “Trust everything Crockwell does for you and provides. From the moment we were first shown around, we felt valued and supported”. Thank you so much to Helen and Tim for sharing your perfect day with us.
