About the Wedding

Emily & Joe married on a beautiful September day last year. The couple, who met on the dating site Plenty of Fish in 2013 wanted to use the outside space at Crockwell to create a wedding that felt like a big party with a relaxed atmosphere and little formality. In keeping with this theme, the couple had no particular colour scheme instead including as many colours as possible in their flowers and decorations provided by Rose & Dandy. Emily stayed at Crockwell the night before the wedding with her bridesmaids who were made up by Jess Nurse. The bride found her Judith Watters dress at Tilly Trotters in Leamington Spa who come highly recommended. The couple tied the knot in the Orchard Pavillion before enjoying reception drinks and garden games, including space hopper races which weren’t restricted to children! Guests were treated to an al fresco wedding breakfast in the paddock, emulating the couples’ own legendary garden parties. As evening drew in, guests enjoyed the sunset and spectacular views and continued the party toasting marshmallows at the fire pit. Photographer Daniela from Ferri Photography captured the day perfectly; our thanks to her and to Emily & Joe for allowing us to share these images with you.
