About the Wedding

We’re delighted to be able to share this beautiful autumn wedding with you, shot by the wonderful Chris Bradshaw. Decorations were provided by the Rustic Wedding Company.

Childhood friends Becky & Karl attended primary school together. After a long break in contact, they met again after university and “the rest was history”. Groom Karl proposed while on holiday in Santorini. Becky says “I remember there being the most amazing sunset, a lot of wine and even more tears (happy ones of course).”

Becky found her beautiful soft Pronovias gown in local boutique, Serendipity Brides in Weedon. The groom’s and ushers’ suits were from Vickers, complemented by ties and pocket squares from Reiss. Bridal hair was by Georgia Welford and make up by Helen Silver. George Simpson provided wonderful acoustic music during the ceremony.

For teacher Becky, a half term wedding was a priority and they set on Haloween for their date. They embraced the autumnal theme and which flowed through their decorations from pampass grass in the barn through to pumpkins, foliage and candles adorning the marquee and sparklers, smores and fire pits in the evening. Flowers were provided by Claire from Hibiscus Floral Design.

Of Crockwell, Becky says “Firstly, the staff made us all feel so welcome and basically part of the family from the moment we met them. We loved the fact that you could have the venue for the three days and we were able to bring our dog along for the day too. We loved how it had accommodation on site for immediate family and space for the boys to get ready separately but still nearby. We also loved the pub in the village for dinner the night before! It was super cosy and the perfect way to relax the night before with family and friends.”

Thank you to the wonderful Becky and Karl, and to Chris Bradshaw for letting us share their wedding with you.
