About the Wedding
We’re so delighted to be able to share this latest Feature with you. Ami & Beth were one of many couples whose wedding was postponed from 2020 to 2021. Their day took place just as restrictions were lifting, which meant we had to improvise a little with things like an outside dancefloor but luckily the weather was kind and they were able to have the most magical day.
When I quizzed the pair on their wedding plans, Ami told me that their priorities were for their wedding to feel as normal as possible, to have a relaxed vibe and not to stress over the little things. They also dearly wished for their dogs to play a role in the day!
They chose Crockwell as a venue because “It was the only venue that literally had everything we wanted. We pulled up to Crockwell and were met by a black Labrador and I remember looking at Beth saying ‘this is the one’. We hadn’t even seen inside but the exterior was perfect, spacious, amazing views, everything we wanted. We then met Hermione. Out of all of the hosts that showed us around venues, she was the most upbeat, friendly and real. We walked around the venue and it blew us away. When we left we both just knew that was the one. Choosing Crockwell meant that myself and Beth didn’t have to lift a finger. I tried to offer help but was told ‘nope it’s your big day.’ I expected to be manic in the morning of my wedding but I honestly felt like I was on holiday at the most perfect place. The help and support throughout Covid as well all made our day what it was, and to us it was perfect.”
