Civil Marriage License Facility at Crockwell
The vaulted hall at Crockwell is a licensed venue for civil weddings, partnerships and naming ceremonies. Seating in the hall is for up to a maximum of 70 including the bride and groom.
For couples wanting more than 70 guests for the ceremony we now have a video link to a separate viewing area in the dance floor marquee with two 1.30 metre plasma screens. We will be able to offer a dvd of your wedding ceremony should you want one.
Once a reservation has been made at Crockwell the Registrar must be contacted and booked by you. They will take reservations up to 12 months in advance; however provisional bookings may be made earlier.

Church Weddings
If you are planning a church wedding you can get married in the parish where you live and come to Crockwell for your wedding reception. We can supply contact details of local churches for blessings or services.
Receptions
After the ceremony drinks can be served in the gardens in the summer where there are plenty of good photo opportunity spots. The enormous walnut tree provides welcome shade on a hot day; but if it is raining there is plenty of space in the bar marquee and hall for reception drinks.
Our permanent marquees are attached to the hall, and are used all year round. They are sited within the farm barns, so have more protection from the elements than an outside marquee - and of course are fully heated throughout. The hall leads through to a dedicated bar marquee and on to the main marquee which seats up to a maximum of 200 people but can be tailored for any number above 50. The front wall has expansive windows with double doors giving access to the wooden veranda; a wonderful undercover barbecue area with a fantastic view. There is a further connected marquee for the band and dancing; this has a starlit ceiling, wooden dance floor and a stage. It also has a separate access for the band/disco to set up.
We have plenty of parking for your guests, and cars can be left here overnight.
